Kobe von Kosel is a beautiful 14 month old German Shepherd who exemplifies the true qualities of the breed – intelligence, loyalty, strength, and self-confidence.  As a working line dog, his owner should have German Shepherd experience with a calm assertive confidence. He knows basic commands and is well behaved but continued training is a must – he looks full grown, but is still a puppy!  He will do best with positive reinforcement training methods, rather than domination. Kobe’s ideal home will be one where a regular schedule and a structured set of rules is consistently reinforced. One of his most favorite past times is playing fetch – orange balls only please - and he does well at the dog park.  He’s sociable, enjoys affection and has a bright personality.  He has basic leash manners. In playgroup, he met both male and female dogs well and was very sociable.  Another plus – he’s housebroken well behaved in the home.  He may be protective of his new owners, so an adult only home would suit him best. However, he would love to have a home with other dogs to play with! Once you develop a relationship with Kobe, one based on mutual trust and respect, you will have a best friend for life.  He will be your everlasting best buddy, a devoted and faithful companion.
